Email subscriptions
Receive email notifications when incidents occur, maintenance is scheduled, or status updates are posted on services you care about.
Subscribe to email updates
- Visit the status page you want to follow.
- Click Get updates.
- Select Email as your subscription method.
- Enter your email address.
- Choose which components to follow (see Subscribe to specific components).
- Click Subscribe.
- Check your email and click the confirmation link.
You'll receive updates immediately after confirming your subscription.
Subscribe to specific components
Choose to receive notifications only for the services you use. This reduces notification fatigue by filtering out irrelevant updates.
Select components during subscription
- On the subscription form, find the Components section.
- Check the boxes next to services you want to follow.
- Leave boxes unchecked for services you don't use.
- Click Subscribe.
If no components are selected, you'll receive updates for all services on the status page.
Confirmation and verification
Initial confirmation
When you first subscribe, you'll receive a confirmation email within seconds. Click the confirmation link to activate your subscription.
Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. If your link expires, start a new subscription.
Confirmed but not receiving updates
If you confirmed but aren't receiving notifications:
- Check your spam and junk folders
- Add
updates@statuspage.betterstackupdate.comto your contacts - Verify you subscribed to the correct status page
Managing your subscription
Change email address
- Unsubscribe from your current subscription.
- Create a new subscription with your new email address.
- Confirm the new subscription.
You cannot change the email address on an existing subscription for security reasons.
Unsubscribe
To stop receiving notifications:
- Click Unsubscribe in any notification email.
- Resubscribe when you want to resume notifications.
