Password, IP allowlist, and SSO protection

Setting up password protection for a status page

  • Go to Status pages.
  • Pick a status page.
  • Go to the Advanced settings.
  • Select Require password to access the page and enter your password.
  • Click Save changes.

Allowing only specific IP addresses

  • Go to Status pages.
  • Pick a status page.
  • Go to the Advanced settings.
  • Fill in the IP allowlist, with 1 IP address or CIDR range per line.
  • Click Save changes.

Leave the allowlist empty to allow all IP addresses.

Requiring Single Sign-On authentication

Configure Single Sign-On for your Better Stack organization first.

  • Go to Status pages.
  • Pick a status page.
  • Go to the Advanced settings.
  • Select Require visitors to authenticate with Single Sign-On.
  • Click Save changes.
