A custom subdomain allows you to display your status page on your own domain, such as status.example.com.

Hosting your status page on a custom subdomain

• Go to Status pages.
• Pick the status page you want to add a custom domain to.
• Type your domain in the Custom domain field.
• Click Save changes.
• Create the CNAME DNS record with your DNS provider.

The record should look like this:

• Record Type: CNAME
• Host: your domain
• Target: 'statuspage.betteruptime.com'

Using Cloudflare?

Set the CNAME record to DNS-only mode so Cloudflare doesn't proxy it.

Custom subdomain not available yet?

The CNAME record may take up to 72 hours to sync with all the DNS registrars, so it might take a bit longer to display your status page.
