Intercom & Better Stack integration

This integration allows you to display your Better Stack status page directly in Intercom Messenger. It helps reduce support tickets by showing real-time service status updates to customers.

What this app does

  • Displays your Better Stack status page inside Intercom Messenger.
  • Allows users to subscribe to status updates directly from the Intercom widget.
  • Reduces inbound inquiries about service status by proactively surfacing the latest information.

How to set up the ppp

1. Set up your status page

  • Create and configure your Better Stack status page. You can find a detailed guide in our Documentation.
  • You can customize this page to reflect your brand and service health metrics.

2. Install the Better Stack app in Intercom

  • Go to the Intercom → Settings → Messenger in Intercom.
  • Click on Customize Home with apps.
  • Scroll down and select Add an app.
  • Select Better Stack from the list of available apps.

3. Add a title (Optional)

  • If you have multiple status pages, you can differentiate between them by adding a custom title for each status page within Intercom Messenger.

4. Select the status page

  • Select which status page should be embedded into the Intercom Messenger widget and click Save.

Your status page will now display a badge in Intercom, showing the current service status. Users can also subscribe to updates, ensuring they receive notifications about any incidents or maintenances directly in their inbox.
