Acknowledging an incident
After you have acknowledged an incident, no other team members get alerted anymore.
Acknowledging incidents in the dashboard:
You can manually acknowledge an incident by going to Incidents, and then clicking Acknowledge in the upper-right corner of an individual incident's detail page.
Acknowledging via phone call:
When Uptime calls you, you are prompted to press 1 to acknowledge the incident. If you don't want to acknowledge the incident (you may, for example, not have your computer on you, and can't start resolving the problem right away), simply hang up, and other team members will get alerted.
Acknowledging via email:
To acknowledge an incident, click the Acknowledge incident button in the e-mail you receive when a new incident is started.
