Integrate Better Stack with Slack to receive error notifications and manage errors from Slack.

Setting up the integration

  1. Navigate to Errors -> Integrations.
  2. Find the Slack integration and click Add.
  3. Follow the authorization steps to connect your Slack workspace.
  4. Configure the integration settings and click Save changes.

Customizing the notifications

  • Receive automatic alerts in your designated Slack channels with error details, stack traces, and affected users.
  • Use reaction buttons in Slack to directly resolve or ignore an error.

Commenting from Slack

Reply in the thread under an error's Slack alert and your reply is added as a comment on that error, marked as coming from Slack. Mention a teammate in the reply and they are mentioned on the error too.
