What IPs does Uptime use?

Prefer to use User-Agent over IP address allowlisting

We highly recommend you configure your firewall based on our User-Agent since our IPs will change without prior notice. We need to be able to change the IP addresses we make requests from on an ongoing basis to continue scaling our services.

If you do decide to allowlist Better Stack IP addresses, please use a CRON script to refresh the list hourly to ensure you automatically enable new IP addresses as soon as they become available to prevent false incidents.

Why is my site down? (SSL error)

Your SSL certificate chain might not be configured correctly. While modern browsers tolerate this, it can cause problems with the older ones.

We recommend using the ssllabs.com validator to identify the issue.

You can, however, also disable SSL validation in the advanced settings of your monitor.
