To disable IPv6 on your Ubuntu 20.04 system, open the /etc/sysctl.conf file in your favorite text editor and put the following lines at the end of the file:

net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1

Then restart your system, and changes will take effect.
