Customer Advocate
The challenge
At Better Stack, we pilot a startup rocketship aiming for the moons of unicorns. With millions in ARR, thousands of customers, and hundreds of thousands of engineers already using us, we are on the right way toward $100M ARR.
On our path there, we are working with customers from the National government of Singapore to Time magazine and even Fortune 500 companies. They need a guide in their buying journey. And we’re looking for an addition to our team to join us on this mission.
What you'll do
- Own your portfolio of client companies. Be it educating their teams on the best practices, upselling them on new features, or helping them jump through the hoops of procurement departments. Think of it as being a consultant but owning your work in the long-term (see Steve Jobs on owning vs. consulting).
- Build business relationships. Be it a CTO, engineering team lead, or an indie hacker. We give everyone the 11-star experience approach in everything we do.
- Solve customer’s problems. Identify issues, design and analyze the best solutions, or even hop on a call to discuss your recommendations with your customers.
- Bring your unique perspective on how to solve any challenges that our customers may come across.
This might be for you if
- You want to be a part of a high-growth environment and engage in a client-facing consultant & advocacy role.
- You are passionate about learning and dive head straight into any challenge. It will be up to you to discuss the technical challenges, organizational goals of our customers and be responsible for driving the solutions from the start to the finish line.
- You are an excellent and effective communicator with native-level English skills. Both written and spoken form.
- You are independent, resourceful, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
- You would like to help us build a love brand (we're proud of the way we treat our customers).

- Annie, who is the heart and soul of our customer team and was previously leading initiatives at the European Space Agency.
- Filip, our technical magician, who can help setup anything from config for an indie hacker to the migration of a 300-strong team.
- Veronika, our co-founder & COO, who was previously at Google and Shopify.
- Our amazing engineers, whose wizard-level skills can solve any technical problem and are always willing to help, as well as our customer success and sales teams.
