# Status page translations

Translate your status page so visitors can read it in their own language. Translations are managed at the organization level, so you can reuse a translation across multiple status pages.

#### Translations require the Modern look

Translations are available only for status pages that use the **Modern look** design. If your page still uses the classic design, switch it to Modern look in the status page settings first.

## Adding a translation

1. Open your status page and go to the **Translations** tab.
2. Click **Add translation**.
3. Pick a **Ready-made language** to start from a set of professionally translated defaults, or choose **None** to translate everything yourself.

Better Stack provides ready-made translations for the following languages:

- English
- Czech
- German
- Spanish
- French
- Dutch
- Swedish
- Turkish

## Customizing the text

A translation gives you full control over the wording on your status page. You can override any default, including:

- Navigation links and the overview status messages
- Resource and incident states
- The subscription and Get in touch sections
- The maintenance and previous incident sections
- Subscriber e-mails and the RSS feed
- Month names, date and time formats, and pluralization rules

Edit the fields you want to change and leave the rest on their defaults.

## Publishing a translation

Translations belong to your organization, so a translation you create can be published on more than one status page. Choose which status pages a translation applies to, and your visitors can switch between the available languages directly on the page.
