# Better Stack to Jira

This integration allows you to convert Better Stack incidents to Jira issues automatically.

## Connecting Jira with Uptime

1.  Go to [Integrations](https://uptime.betterstack.com/team/0/integrations/ ";_blank") and click **Add** on the Jira integration.
2.  You will be redirected to Jira. Click **Accept**.
3.  Configure sensible defaults for **Project**, **Issue type**, and any important field.
4.  Click **Save changes**.

## Creating Jira issues

Create a Jira issue for any of your incidents in [Incidents](https://uptime.betterstack.com/team/0/incidents ";_blank") → **any incident** → **Create Jira**.

You can also automatically create Jira issues for specific incidents by selecting the Jira integration in your [Escalation policies](https://uptime.betterstack.com/team/0/policies ";_blank").
