# Fix with AI

Fix with AI tab gives you a **ready-made prompt for Claude Code or Cursor** with all necessary context to identify and fix an error. This helps you understand the root cause of an error faster and suggests potential solutions.

1. Navigate to [Errors](https://errors.betterstack.com/team/0/errors/ ";_blank").
2. Click on any error group to open its detailed view.
3. Select the Fix with AI tab.

Copy and use ready-made prompts in your IDE with tools like Claude, Codex or Cursor for further debugging.

## Customizing your prompt

Customize the prompt and **tailor the AI's instructions** to better suit your specific debugging workflow and the needs of your team. Each application can have fine-tuned prompts, ready to be used when a new error occurs.

Go to **Errors** -> [Applications](https://errors.betterstack.com/team/t0/applications/ ";_blank") -> Your application -> **Advanced settings** tab to customize the prompt template.

You'll find a **Variables sidebar** next to the prompt editor listing all available placeholders. Include these placeholders in your prompt template, and we'll fill it in from the actual error.
