# How To Whitelist Better Stack IPs on Azure

If you are using a [Azure](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/) GCP with your
system it is a best practice to whitelist Better Stack IPs and User Agent. This
will prevent Microsoft Azure from blocking Better Stack's monitoring requests
and prevent any false incident alerting.

In this quick tutorial, we will guide you through each step.

## Where can I find Better Stack IPs?

The official documentation provides list of
[all used Better Stack IPs as well as the User Agent](https://betterstack.com/docs/uptime/frequently-asked-questions/#what-ips-does-uptime-use).
They are split into regions for easier navigation.

### Step 1

From _Azure Dashboard_ navigate to _All services_.

### Step 2

Select _Firewall Policies._

### Step 3

Select _Rules_ tab.

### Step 4

Click on _Add a rule collection_

### Step 5

Fill in the following information as shown below:

The **source** field is a list of
[Better Stack IPs](https://betterstack.com/docs/uptime/frequently-asked-questions/#what-ips-does-uptime-use)
divided by commas.

### Step 6

Click _Add_.
