## Request cover for your on-call shift when plans change
**Forgot about your on-call and need to find someone to cover for you?** Request cover for any on-call shift directly in our new mobile app. Your colleagues who are part of the on-call schedule will get a notification to cover for you.
**Already know who will cover your on-call shift?** Skip the back-and-forth and create an on-call override for any of your shifts in our new mobile app.

## Escalate to the next on-call person when you're unavailable
Got paged but can't handle the incident? Skip any delays and fast-forward the incident to the next person in line — click "I'm unavailable" in the mobile app or incident e-mail.
The incident will be escalated to the entire team or to the next person according to your configured escalation.
## No more guessing who's going to be notified next
See the incident escalation in real-time — always know who's going to be notified if you don't acknowledge. Acknowledge the incident to stop the ongoing escalation and prevent alerting others.
